Here listen, act, and transform
I see therapy as a partnership and a safe, affirming space to collaborate on goals, kick around ideas, ponder weird thoughts, dive deeper into behaviors, habits, stressors, and explore new areas of yourself. I love working with adolescent and young adults who are exploring new freedoms, relationships, personality development, and how to try to get through that stage of life with some kind of grace and less cringe. I also really enjoy working with adults across the life span to help them create a life that they thrive in and is aligned with their values.
I have worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years, working with behavioral and family support systems, substance use and co-occurring disorders, survivors of domestic violence, crisis intervention and safety planning for National and Veterans Suicide Hotline, working with LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, and have extensive training in trauma work.
